Betty J. (Jean) Bemowski
Age 80, of Stevens Point died early Thursday morning, July 4, 2019 at the Portage County Health Care Center with her loving family at her side.
Betty was born May 14, 1939 to the late Harold and Helen (Richmond) Coulthurst in Stevens Point. Betty attended local schools in Stevens Point. Her marriage to Robert F. Bemowski took place on July 6, 1963 in Stevens Point. Her husband preceded her in death on March 16, 2000.
Betty’s passion in life was being a loving and devoted wife to Bob, and a great mother to her children. Betty loved embroidery work, playing cards and traveling to naval reunions with her husband Bob for many years. Her most favorite time was being able to visit with her children and brothers.
Betty enjoyed the companionship of her beloved cats; Brandy, Bandit and Buffy.
Survivors include her three children Alan (Robyn) Bemowski of Sheboygan, WI. Donna of Stevens Point, and David Bemowski of Kronenwetter. Further survived by her three brothers; Neil (Kathy) Coulthurst, Jackson, WI, Michael Coulthurst of Stevens Point and Dennis Coulthurst of Marshfield, and her wonderful sister in law Kati Bemowski of Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, one sister Patricia Glaman, and her brother in law Roger Bemowski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. Wednesday morning at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peters church until the time for mass.
