May to Aug. 1863 Absent sick at hospital. Howard’s Grove Hospital, Richmond, Va. Admitted: 8/12/63. Disease: Debility. Return to duty 9/12/63. Sep. to Dec. 1863 present. Jan. & Feb. 1864 present. Howard’s Grove Hospital. Admitted: 8/12/64. Died: Sep. 3, 1864 from Diarrhea. Born in Ga. Age 31 yrs. His widow Amanda filed claims 10/31/64.
