Florence O'Blenis WALTON - Florence O'Blenis. 74. 304 N. Maple St.. Walton, died Thursday at 3:37 a.m. in Memorial Hospital. She was born in Washington Township on Feb. 26, 1908. to Daniel and Nora Crockett Bruner. On April 20, 1930. she was married to Harold J. (Pat) O'Blenis. who survives. A retired school teacher, she was a member of the Blue Ball Congregational Christian Church, the Retired Teachers Association and the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving with the husband are two daughters. Peggy Hendrickson. 917 Woodmere St., and Patsy Saylors, Walton; three sisters, Edith Widner, Walton, Velma Stigers, California, and Eunice BeBee, Colorado, six brothers, Lowell, Max, Mark, Lloyd and John Bruner, all of Walton, and Marlin Bruner, of Flora; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother preceded her in death. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m in the Wolf-Hartzler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Marsh officiating. Burial will be in the Walton IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walton Christian Church building fund.
