WALTON — A heart attack at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at her home was fatal to Mrs. Anna A. Jones, 66, widow of Lawrence B. Jones. Death occurred at her home a few minutes after she was stricken. The body is at the Evans funeral home but will be taken to the residence at four o'clock this afternoon where friends may call. Final rites will be at two o'clock (DST) Monday at the Walton Methodist church. The Reverend Dean Cornelius will officiate and burial will be in Walton cemetery.
Born Oct. 26, 1886 she was the daughter of L. S. and Louisa Bowyer. Her marriage to Lawrence B. Jones was Oct. 14, 1906.
Survivors are four children: Mrs. Margaret Hall, Onward; Mrs. Dorothy O'Dell, at home; Boyd Jones, Logansport; Clyde Jones, Peru; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Gertrude Graham, Kokomo; Mrs. Iva Smith, Columbus, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Two brothers, Charles and Bert Bowyer preceded her in death.
