Harry Clark Clayworth, age 89, of Moravia, Iowa, passed away July 3, 2019 at MercyOne Medical Center, Centerville, Iowa.

Harry was born August 9, 1929 in Centerville, to John A. and Mary (Lundy) Clayworth. Harry married Phyllis Cicco in Centerville on January 15, 1949. To this union, two children were born, Norma and John. Harry owned a farm near Udell, Iowa, for many years before retiring and moving to Moravia in April of 1995. He enjoyed fishing and playing with his grandchildren.

Left to honor Harry's memory include his wife, Phyllis Clayworth of Moravia; a daughter, Norma (Rod) Woodward of Moravia; daughter-in-law, Sheila (Doug) Clemens of Moravia; five grandchildren, Chad (Cheryl) Miller, Clint (Jessica) Woodward, Lydia Lewis (Dusty), Cody (Cindy) Clayworth, and Casey (Jon) Morlan all of Moravia; twelve great grandchildren, Matt Miller, Erika Miller, Jazmine Lewis, Ava Martin, Casen Woodward, Parker Woodward, Gracelyn Woodward, Trenton Clayworth, Blane Clayworth, Bentley Clayworth, Macon Morlan, and Mesa Morlan; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Clayworth of Centerville, and Stella Baptist of Silvis, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Clayworth; his son, John Clayworth; two brothers; and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, July 8, 2019 at Lange Funeral Home in Moravia, Iowa, with Pastor Terry Chapman officiating. Burial with military rites will follow the funeral service in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Moravia. A visitation will take place Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Lange Funeral Home in Moravia, from 12 PM-6 PM, with the family greeting friends from 4-6 PM. A memorial has been established to Phyllis Clayworth, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
