He was born August 14, 1937 in Granite City, Illinois, son of Lender W. and Thelma Greenlee Stovall.
Jerry worked for the former International Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau and Jackson for several years. He managed various gas stations in St. Louis and Illinois. While he worked for Ceramo Company in Jackson, he also raised many types of small animals such as dogs and goats. His favorite past time was fishing in the Crump Lake. Jerry attended the Crump Assembly Church in Crump, Missouri.
Loving survivors include one brother Earl Stovall of Cape Girardeau and three sisters, Betty Ford of Cape Girardeau, Della (James) McLain of Jackson and Mary Ann (Rev. J.D.) Smith of Advance, Missouri.
Jerry was preceded in death by one son Rodney Eugene Stovall, one brother Glenn Eugene Stovall and one sister Donna Kay Eakins.
