Lloyd Douglas “Doug” Brewer, age 76 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

He was self-employed and also sold fireworks for 24 years. Doug’s favorite hangout was Southside Café in Paris. He enjoyed having yard sales and being around people.

Doug was born August 10, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to the late Lloyd Brewer and the late Frances Mozell Insco Brewer.

He was married February 11, 1960, to Hazel Pullum Brewer, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by five children, Deborah Brewer of Paris, TN, Tony Brewer of Paris, TN, Randy (Catherine) Brewer of Lebanon, TN, Sam (Carla) Brewer of San Luis Obispo, CA, and Pam (Bill) Brewer-Walls of Joelton, TN; two brothers, Don Brewer of Paris, TN, and Gerald (Martha Jo) Brewer of Dyer, TN; four grandchildren, Angela (Ryan) French, Tiffany (Wesley) Midgett, Matthew Brewer, and Emma Brewer; and five great grandchildren, Kylee French, Brynlee French, Isabella Brewer, Cyrus Midgett, and Griffin Midgett.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Christopher Brewer.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Johnathan Smith officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
