Lloyd was born to Gerald and Theodora (Top) Immink in 1934 and went on to spend 10 years in the United States National Guard. He was co-owner of Gerrits & Immink Plastering for over 30 years. He enjoyed vacationing in Florida and spending time with friends and family.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his brother, Gene (Mary) Immink.
He is survived by his loving wife Lois of 55 years; children, Bryan (Connie) Immink, Lori Sue (Todd) DeFouw; grandchildren, Gracie Immink, Grant Immink, Tyler DeFouw, Megan DeFouw; brother, Earl (Marcia) Immink; sister-in-laws, Arlene (Ron) Morley, Judy Windemuller, Sharon (Rick) DeHaan; brother-in-laws; Paul (Marie) Jacobs, David (Cindy) Jacobs, Glenn (Shirley) Schrotenboer, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 5 at 1:00pm, with a one-hour visitation prior at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 188 W 32nd Street in Holland. Burial will be at Overisel Cemetery.
