She was the eldest of four girls, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on July 18, 1936 to John and Geneva McElyea.
Joyce loved life and people and was very passionate about her charities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Ray Wojhoski, Sr. and Arden Diemer; sister, Mary Vaughn.
Survived by her son, Ray Wojhoski, Jr.; two daughters, Pamela Fields of Prairie Grove and Deborah Scherz of North Little Rock; two sisters, Ebbie Curtis of Vilonia, and Rita Freeman-West, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a slew of nieces, nephews and her Heritage Publishing Company family of 29 years.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
