Elizabeth Davenport, only surviving dau. of Samuel Davenport and Rebecca Holbrook, b. Apr. 12, 1736 at Milton, Mass. She d. July 4, 1806 at Mendon, Mass.

On Sept. 18, 1752 at Mendon, she m. Lieut. James Lovett, whose origin and date of birth are unclear. He d. of record July 11, 1814 at Mendon, but no gravestone indication accompanies his death entry in the Mendon VRs. They had at least twelve, perhaps thirteen, children recorded at Mendon of which the birthdates of four are uncertain due to torn/worn pages. Those with known dates: Sarah (1753), Elizabeth (1755), Samuel (1757), Moses (1759), twins James and Rebecca (1762), Abigail (1764), Chloe (1767) and Lucy (1769). At least three, perhaps four, children with torn dates: Nancy, Nancy again if not a duplicate entry, Phineas and William.
