In the early morning hours on Sunday, June 9, 2019, Aaron Adams, age 77, of Morganton, North Carolina left his earthly home to be with the Lord with his family by his side. A native of Wilson, North Carolina, Aaron was born on June 16, 1941 to the late Colonel Adams and Helen Barnes Brantley.

Aaron was a faithful church member of Mountain View #2 Baptist Church in Morganton. He was an avid gardener and loved his dogs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of fifty-seven years, Donna Adams; three children, Shawn Adams, Debbie Ezell (Jeff) and Randy Adams (Cindy); five grandchildren, Ashley Hoskins (Daniel), Sarah Hollifield (Jarred), Samantha Clontz, Joshua Clontz (Kristen) and Ceyleah Adams and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Vera and Nicholas.

A funeral service to celebrate Aaron’s life will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Mountain View #2 Baptist Church 4692 Dysartville Road Marion NC 28752, with Pastor Ken Mashburn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.
