THOMASVILLE--Mrs. Mirandy Lambeth, 83, widow of Andrew Lindsay Lambeth, died at the home of her son, John H. Lambeth, Thursday afternoon at 1:30pm. Born in Davidson County, December 22, 1867, she was the daughter of Henry Perdue and Lizzie Plummer Perdue and had spent the greater part of her life in this community. Mrs. Lambeth was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Lexington. Her husband preceded her in death June 20, 1932. Surviving are 5 daughters; Mrs. Dora Hughes and Mrs. Pearl Craver, both of Lexington, Route 2, Mrs. William L. Black and Mrs. Bertha Brawley, both of High Point and Mrs. Lonnie Bates of Lexington; one son, John H. Lambeth of Thomasville; 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from Mt. Zion Pilgrim Church Saturday 2:30 pm in charge of the pastor, Rev. T.R.York and Rev. L.L. Lange, pastor of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Lexington.
Interment will be in the Lambeth family plot in the church cemetery.
