Ed was a veteran of the United States Army serving in France during World War II, and he retired from Aero Manufacturing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grand and great-grandchildren, along with his Saturday morning coffee with Joe Hughes.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joni; three children, Edward (Dorothy) Absher, Toni Smith, Tim (Anita) Absher; several grand and great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin (Ella) Absher. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila, and three brothers, Bill, George, and Harry. A private family service will be held at a later date. -Ever Rest Funeral Home
