Henrietta Sorensen, was called home June 27, 2019, 3 hours before her 100th birthday, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 28, 1919 to Mavis Baker and Gurtrude Unck. She married her sweetheart, Dean Jerold Sorensen, February 4, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had four children: Jerry Sorensen (Connie), Janean Bowthorpe (Alan), Elaine Galloway and Judy Manget (deceased). They have 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Henrietta was a sweet humble soul, with a feisty, fun-loving personality, loved by everyone she met. She was most known for her musical skills. She was a violinist for the Utah Symphony and a stake organist at age 13 and continued as the organist in both stake and ward positions throughout her life. Her greatest passion was her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to services at the mortuary. Interment Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, Utah.
