Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Roland Anthony Richard, 86, who died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.
Laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Rickey Istre officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife, Juanette B. Richard of Gueydan; two sons, Roland A. Richard, Jr. and his wife, Sandy of Gueydan and Marcus S. Richard and his wife, Missy of Kaplan; three daughters, Bess M. Amy of Gueydan, Carolyn A. Breaux and her husband, John of Breaux Bridge, and Charlotte K. Stutes and her fiancé, Charles Buck of Gueydan; ten grandchildren, Dawn Laseter, Amy Cooper, Bryan LeJeune, Jr., Max Amy, Blake Richard, Shana Price, Harold Stutes, Jr., Katie Guidry, Victoria Guidry, and Autumn Martin; six great grandchildren; and one brother, Allen Richard and his wife, Theresa of Gueydan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah C. Richard; his granddaughter, Jamie Kibodeaux; two brothers, Querie Richard and Euland Richard; and two sisters, Anna Mae Abshire and Jane Richard.
