Henry J. Waldvogel, 97, town of Norwood, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Antigo.

He and his wife, Marie Ann, owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Norwood.

Survivors include his children, Mary Ann (Donald) Kuhr and Joseph (Janet) Waldvogel, all of Antigo, and Jean (William) Beran, Aniwa; one daughter-in-law; a brother, Joseph Wadvogel, Wausau; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, Phlox. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Phlox. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight at Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo, with a parish wake service at 7:30 p.m., and again from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.

The 1920 Federal census for Norwood in Langlade County, Wisconsin, shows that Henry was the son of Charles and Matilda Waldvogel. The children of Charles who was the first generation born in Wisconsin (his father war born in Germany)and Matilda (born in Wisconsin) are shown as:
