Mrs. Shattuck was a native of Iowa. She came to California in 1875 and settled in Stockton where her family had a ranch. She is survived by a son, Raymond, of San Diego; two daughters, Mrs. Lottie S. Curtis, of San Jose, and Mrs. Hester Knight, of Santa Cruz; a brother, Duke Cole, of Saratoga, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Farmer, of Santa Rosa; a grandson, Norton S. Curtis, of San Jose, and three great-grandchildren.
