Doyle A. ‘Bud’ Tucker, departed this life on June 24, 2019 in Orange Beach, Alabama.

He was born on August 6, 1950 in New Madrid, MO the son of the late Delton and Lottie Patterson Tucker. He grew up in the Hickory Corner Community and moved to McNairy County and graduated from Bethel Springs High School in 1968. He served in the TN National Guard for several years. He was united in marriage to Sandy King on April 28, 1972. They made their home in Bethel Springs throughout their marriage.

Doyle was a farmer for many years before going to work at Quality Stamping in Henderson as a press operator for over twenty years, retiring in 2014.
Doyle was a former member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. He was a member of Sanctified Church in the Rose Creek Community where he served as a deacon for several years.

Doyle was a loving husband, daddy and “Papaw Doyle”. He loved his family and friends dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Tucker, his son, Lance Tucker and grandson Hayden Tucker. He leaves three sisters, Joyce Mathis and husband Charles of Henderson, Peggy Rice and husband Frank of Henderson and Margaret Locke and husband Larry of Bethel Springs and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery
