James E. Allen 84, of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Mountain Home. He was born in Norwood, Missouri to the late Teddy and Alma (Strunk) Allen on February 16, 1935. James has owned two gas stations and a tire shop in Mountain Home since 1974. He is a longtime member of the First Assembly of God in Mountain Home and was very dedicated to missions all around the world. James is also a veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Noel Allen.

James is survived by his wife, Jane Allen of Mountain Home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim (Carol) Allen of Santa Teresa, New Mexico and Mark (Lorretta) Allen of Mountain Home; two grandchildren, Sydney Allen and her fiancé, Dalton Lind of Mountain Home and Robert Allen of Mountain Home; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolly (Jim) Phillips of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Ethel (Bob) Leach of Norwood, Missouri and Ann (Troy) Freeman of Norwood, Missouri.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at the Conner Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God in Mountain Home. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., at the Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
