Bonnie Bess Worley departed this life on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 17 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee in the Lutts Community on February 8, 1939, the daughter of the late Lillian and Robert Lee Jones. On June 7, 1957, she was united in marriage to Tommy Jack Worley, Sr., who survives.

Bonnie was an employee of Clifton Manufacturing for several years and worked as a teller for Hardin County Bank. She taught Sunday school at Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church for many years and was the leader of the UMYF group. Bonnie was a busy mom of 3 sons. She was constantly running in several different directions with their different endeavors, but she was always supportive and encouraged them in all the different sports, because of her own talents as an athlete.

Bonnie was an exceptional high school basketball player. She nurtured her love of the game by coaching and following her favorite teams on high school and collegiate levels. She was very proud of the athletic accomplishments of her sons, Darryl and Barry. She was an outdoor enthusiast and loved creating landscapes through ground sculpting and planting. Her favorite pastime, by far, was sitting with people and providing encouragement. She believed that everyone has within them the ability to attain a higher level of performance through hard work, dedication to God, service to others, and love of mankind.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Tommy Worley, Sr. of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Tommy Worley, Jr. and his wife Rene of Cowan, Tennessee, Darryl Worley and his wife Kimberly, and Barry Worley, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Matthew Worley, Hatley Kilgore, Kyle Worley, Kayla Worley, and Savannah Worley; great grandchildren, Paden Force, Jace Foreman, and Eli Worley; and sister, Robbie Williams of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Treva Jones Harrison.
