AC enjoyed life. He loved spending time with his family, scrap metal work, and mechanic work. AC attended Norfolk Public Schools.

He leaves to mourn his five children: George Gill, III (Rebecca) of Norfolk, VA, Ronnie Gill (Teresa) of Las Vegas, NV, Augustus Gill (Tennile) of Norfolk, VA, Augustus Alston of Norfolk, VA, and Theresa Cuffee of Chesapeake, VA.

He also leaves to mourn brother-in-law Melvin Johnson and a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
