Burt Gilfillan, 84, Stark County Health Center resident, retired farmer of Saratoga Township, died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Aug 25, in Kewanee Public Hospital. He was born in Stark County on January 16, 1894, a son of William John and Ida May Sturm Gilfillan.
Survivors include two nephews, Ross Gilfillan, Bloomington, and Bill Gilfillan, Tolono. Services were held on Monday, Aug 28, 3:00 p.m , in the Dunlap Funeral Home.
Rev Lauren Gerber of the Bradford First Baptist Church officiated, with Mrs. Delbert Howell organist Casket bearers were Chuck Rosenbaum, Larry Noder, Glen Moffitt, Jim Phelps, Harvey Dorff, James Bogner and Henry Rosenbaum Burial was in the Bradford Cemetery There was visitation at the funeral home one hour before services Memorials may be directed to the Baby Fold, Normal.
