Frank E. Knight, age 82 of Mooresville, Indiana, died July 21, 2006 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born July 3, 1924 in the Rock House in Morgantown, Indiana to the late James Smith & Myrtle Ethel Settles Knight.

He was Judge of the Mooresville Town Court from 1980 to 1990. Previously, he was a truck driver 38 years retiring in 1981 from American Freight. He also served as Constable and Justice of the Peace in Mooresville in the 1960's and 1970's. He also, for several years, was an auctioneer with Mason & Knight Auctioneering. Frank served with the United States Army during WW II. He was a member of Eternal Life Baptist Church, Teamsters Local 135 and Mooresville VFW Post #1111. He was also preceded in death by daughters Donna K. Weddle & Janet Bault; 6 brothers & sisters and 12 half brothers & sisters.

Survivors include his wife Helen Juanita Ladyman Knight; son James F. Thompson; brothers Roy "Sonny" Knight & Robert Knight; grandchildren Penny Weddle, Billy Watson, J R Bault & Ty Thompson and 3 great-grandchildren.

Calling will be held from 4-8 P.M., Monday, July 24, 2006 in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Don Endsley at 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in the funeral chapel. He will be cremated following services.
