Betty McGalliard, 81, of Spur died Friday, October 20, 2006 in Lubbock. Services will be 1:00PM, Monday, October 23, 2006 at First Assembly of God Church in Spur with Rev. Bob Wright officiating. Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Betty was born December 12, 1924 in Kent County to Lewis and Ormetta Chambless Barber. She was a homemaker for many years and later worked at Bell's Cafe in Spur and Shamrock Cafe in Dickens. She enjoyed cooking, and was a very caring and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, one brother, one sister and her parents.

Betty is survived by four sons, Roy Kendrick of Amarillo, Richard Kendrick of Hereford, Reggie and Robert D. Kendrick both of Spur; two daughters, Dorothy Price of Lubbock and Shanna Adcock of Spur; four brothers, Billy Barber of Big Spring, Runt Barber of Kansas City, MO, James Barber of Lincoln, Arkansas and Hubert Barber of Big Spring; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
