Final rites for Cecil B. Ellis, 56, who died Saturday, will be hold tomorrow at 11 a.m. at White's chapel with Rev. Don Fleming of the First Methodist church officiating. Interment will he in Oakwood Memorial park.
A native of Vinita, Okla., Ellis was employed in the mining and oil businesses and for the past few years worked as a carpenter. He came to Santa Cruz in 1952 from Eugene. Ore. He made his home at 345 Oxford way.
He is survived by his wife, Mayme L., of Santa Cruz; two sons, Lyle, of Corvallis, Ore., and Earl Ellis, of San Jose; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Gilbert of Oregon, Mrs. Agnes Warner of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Kathleen White of Oklahoma; a brother, Lee Ellis of Oregon.
Ellis was a member of the First Methodist church.
