STUARTS DRAFT-Harmon R. "Bill" Gray, 56, of Route 2, Box 506D, Stuarts Draft, died yesterday morning in Waynesboro Community Hospital. Mr. Gray was born in Nelson County on April 25, 1925, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Davis Gray.

He was retired from Crompton Co. and was a member of Sherando Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Maudie H. Gray; one son, Harmon R. Gray Jr. of Stuarts Draft; two stepsons, William H. Dedrick of Waynesboro and John Hewitt of Baltimore, Md.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Barbara Hull of Waynesboro and Mrs. Thelma Blair of Ladd; five sisters, Mrs. Cora Quick of Lyndhurst, Mrs. Gertie Hunt of Covesville, Mrs. Mary Smith of Covington, Mrs. Annie Berry of Nellysford, and Mrs. Hazel Lucado of Pontiac, Mich.; three brothers, Larcy Gray, Stuart Gray, and Caskie Gray, all of Afton; two grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of Etter Funeral Home, Waynesboro, conducted by the Rev. Roy D. Kiser and the Rev. Charles C. Ramsey, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Buddy Hewitt, David Hewitt, Kenny "Buddy" Campbell, Roger Moran, Robert Fitzgerald and Kenny Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Hewitt, Paul Swisher, Everett Gray, Charlie Gray, Hamilton Gray, Charles Lee Coffey, Dr. John Forbes and Lawrence Lowery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Etter Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
