On June 4, 2007, Fern L. Burrowes, 85, went to be with her Lord.
Fern was born on Nov. 8, 1921, at Ransom, Kan.
Fern and Bus Burrowes were married Jan. 5, 1941. He preceeded her in death in December 1982.
She was also preceeded in death by a grandson, Todd Traxson, in 1985.
Fern and Bus were former residents of Goodman, operating Main Street Cafe and Linwood Laundary in the 1950s and 60s.
Survivors include one son, Jim Burrowes and wife, Mickie Burrowes, Goodman; one daughter, Vanda Dennis and husband, John, of Arcadia, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Burial will be at Banner Cemetery at a later date. Services were provided by National Cremation Society, Port Charlotte, Fla.
