Richard Dale Leichliter, 73, of Tempe, Ariz., died of a heart attack Jan. 8 at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church in Ogden, with burial at the church cemetery.
Mr. Leichliter was born in Ogden and had lived there as a youth. He had lived in Kansas and Des Moines before moving to Arizona. He was retired.
He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Leichliter of Prairie Village, Kan., and Suzanne Taylor of Gaston, Ore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Humane Society. Carson Funeral Home in Ogden is handling arrangements.
