Lanny C. Graham, age 77 of Potosi, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was born July 20, 1941 in Kirksville, MO, the son of Cecil E. and Beulah F. (Parish) Graham.

Lanny graduated from high School in LaPlata, MO, and went on to work for 32 years at the John Deere Dubuque Works, until his retirement in 1997. He was always supportive of his family and loved to tell stories. More than anything he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Lanny also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, keeping his yard nice, and watching the hummingbirds and orioles that visited the feeders outside his kitchen window. He looked forward to March Madness and was a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers. Lanny enjoyed his morning coffee at McCartney Corners, and spending time at home with “Smokey”, his cat.

Lanny is survived by his children: Shane (Mary Ellen) Graham, Shelby (Tim) Bausch, and Stacy (fiancée, Ken Alber) Graham Pennekamp; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two siblings: Gloria Demory and Terry Graham.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial to follow at Van Buren Cemetery, Potosi.

In lieu of plants and flowers, a Lanny C. Graham Memorial Fund has been established.
The family thanks Dr. Hermann and Tony in the Oncology Department at UnityPoint Health and to Agrace Hospice for all their kind care and compassion.
