She was born to Elmer and Mary (White) Youngs. On May 3, 1947, she married John Danaher, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Dan (Mary) and John (Sandy), all St. Marys; seven daughters, Kathryn, Mary Jo, Cindy (Rick) King, Peg (Ray) Murray, Barb (Denny) Wiehe, Elaine (Rick) Mallory and Jan (Kim) Reiher, all St. Marys; a sister, Kathryn (Rodney) Luecke, St. Marys; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Elmer, John, and Bill Youngs; and a grandson.
She was a homemaker and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, its ladies sodality and Legion of Mary, St. Marys. She also was a member of American Legion Post #323 Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #9289, both of St. Marys, and a 1943 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
