Joseph "Gene" Mills, 86, of South Third Street, died Saturday at Alliant Medical Pavillion.
He was a native of Marion County and a retired machine operator at the old Wood Mosaic Co. Married 27 February 1932 to Lottie E. Dezern.
Survivors: his wife, the former Lottie Dezern; a daughter, Norma Mills: a son, Larry Mills; a brother, Joe T. Mills; a sister, Dora Goodman; a granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, O. D. White & Sons, 2727 S. Third St. Burial: Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
