He was active in the Pleasant Hill Christian church and was superintendent of the Sunday school.
He is survived by his wife, a son, George; three daughters, Ida Kemp, Ina Morehouse and Mary Neel, one sister, Anna Dunifon, two brothers, William A. Roush and James Roush , eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ten brothers and sisters have preceded him in death.
He was a grocer for 27 years at North Salem.
