Ruth Evelyn Chasteen Humphries, 90, of Cincinnati, died Sunday at Florence Park Care Center in Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Disciples of Christ Church, Cincinnati. Her husband, Oscar Marion Humphries, died in 1991. A daughter, Juanita Wade, died in January.
Survivors include a brother, Ross Chasteen of Pineville; sisters, Geneva Million of Berry, Margaret Chasteen of Duluth, Ga., and Sylvia Hanna of Lexington; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.

HUMPHRIES Ruth Evelyn Chasteen, 90, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 1997, at the Florence Park Nursing Home In Florence, KY. Mrs. Humphries was a homemaker and a member of the Disciples of Christ Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Marlon Humphries on August 25, 1991, and a daughter Juanita Wade on January 19, 1997.
She is survived by a son-in-law, Ray Wade of Fairborn, OH, 4 grandchildren; Dale Wade of Fairborn, OH, Cheryl (Keith) Honeycutt of Hebron, KY, Becky (Gary) Cromer of Fairfield, OH, and Vicky (Sherman) Kalfus of San Angelo, TX; nine great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a brother, Ross Chasteen of Pineville, KY; sisters, Geneva Million of Berry, KY, Margaret Chasteen of Dufuth, GA, and Sylvia Hanna of Lexington.
Funeral services wiH be at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 1997 at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Berry, KY by Keith Groves. The visitation will be Wednesday from 1 P.M. until time of services. Interment in Pythian Grove Cemetery, 10:00A.M. Nov.21
