Lois L. Stevenson Bradbury, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 12:45 a.m., in Union Hospital. She was born July 15, 1921, in Sullivan, to Guy Biddle and Elva Burris Biddle.. Lois graduated from Sullivan High School in 1939. She attended and graduated from Smart Appearance Beauty School.. Lois was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked at the Indiana State University Bookstore, Vigo County School Corporation Adult Education Center, Union Hospital and the Vigo County Public Library. She was a member of Maryland Community Church. In recent years she attended her neighborhood church, Sugar Grove Free Methodist. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Noah Stevenson, who passed away Nov. 12, 1978; and her second husband, Joe Bradbury, who passed away Dec. 14, 1994. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, John Biddle and Bill Biddle; and an infant sister.. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Lapido of St. Cloud, Fla.; two sons, Jim Stevenson, and David Stevenson and wife Kim, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Mike Arnett of Leesburg, Fla., Lee Ann Reilly of St. Cloud, Fla., Jennifer Hittle of Terre Haute, and Jamie Fletcher of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Samantha Reilly, Alyssa Reilly, Wyatt Reilly and Carson Fletcher; and several nieces and nephews.. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, 3201 McKean, two blocks south of Hulman Street on South 32nd Street. Deron Colgan and Monte Vincent will be officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery, in Sullivan. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Grove Free Methodist. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., was entrusted with arrangements.
