Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Weaver and Rev. Brandy Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in the Pond Mountain Cemetery.
Mrs. Doty was born in Ashe County on August 12, 1949 to James W. Farmer and the late Lois Calhoun Farmer. Catherine was a member of Farmers Memorial Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer Wyatt and Ernie Doty; a son, Terry Wyatt; a grandson, Tommy Wyatt; three brothers, Jimmy Ray Farmer (176218920), Larry Farmer (93573893) and Randy Farmer.
Mrs. Doty is survived by: three sons, Elmer Wyatt and wife, Joyce, of Portland Oregon, Mike Wyatt and wife, Trisha, of Portland, Oregon and Justin Timpy of Pittsboro, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Jewel Doty and husband, Ryan, of Heyburn, Idaho; her father and step mother, Jim and Janie Farmer, of Creston; a brother, Rev. Danny Farmer and wife, Ann, of Creston; a step brother, Jeff Parsons, of Crumpler; a step sister, Sherry Richardson, of Creston; several nieces and nephews also survive.
