Mitchell--At his residence, six miles from the city, on Randolph Road, David C. Mitchell, Esq., in his 76th year. He settled early in life in Maury county, Tenn., and resided there until 1861, when he moved to Shelby county. He was a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church for over fifty years, and died as he lived, a worthy good man. Services by Rev. Dr. Steadman this Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, at Elmwood Cemetery. His friends and the friends and acquaintances of his son-in-law, A.W. Southworth, Esq., are invited to attend.
