Age 75 of Cottontown went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 10, 2019 at her home. She was born July 12, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Lloyd and Donna York White. She enjoyed attending sporting events and plays, especially those for her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, especially dogs, amusement parks and roller coasters. She loved to serve people and enjoyed baking pies, especially coconut cream. The most important thing to her was spending time with her family. Mrs. Turrentine was a member of City on a Hill Church Nashville. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don White. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wilfred Turrentine, Cottontown, TN; daughter, Cherie (Neal) Morse, Cottontown, TN; 3 grandchildren, Chad (Whittney) Hoerner, Wil (JoAnna) Morse and Jayda (Brandon) Haley; 3 great-grandchildren, Zella, Maddox and Lucas Hoerner. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 7pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Todd Morrell officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service, 6-7pm at the funeral home. Inurnment in the Hillcrest columbarium will be scheduled at a later date.
