Wanda Jean Madden, 86, of Ashdown, AR passed away June 8, 2019 in a local nursing home. She was born August 20, 1932 in Hughes Springs, TX to the late Archie and Annie Baughman.
Wanda was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was active in her Sunday school class and she was a member of the Busy Bee Quilting Club. Most important, Wanda was a Christian who loved her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles E. Madden, two brothers, four sisters and one grandson, Eddy Withem.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Teresa Cowart and Mary Ann and Rick Edrington of Ashdown, three grandchildren and one granddaughter-in-law, Crystal Evans (Nick) of Ashdown, Carla Moon of Texarkana, TX and Brandon (Taylor) Harrington of Nashville, TN, and Roxanne Withem, eight great grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10:00 at the funeral home with Dr. Robert McCarver and Corey Perkins officiating. Interment to follow at Arden Cemetery.
