A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 1999, in Riverview Abbey Funeral Home for Allen Boyd Wise, who died May 1 at age 81.
Mr. Wise was born July 9, 1917, in Kansas City, Mo. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II. He lived in the Portland area since 1935. He worked as a plumber for many years until retiring in 1981 and was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 290. His wife, DeLomee, died in 1985.
Survivors include his son, Mark A. of Colton; daughter, Marlyss A. Watson of Amity; brother, Horace Jr. of Pittsburg, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
Private interment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum.
