Daniel George, age 83 years, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Robert F. Whitt, of Ardmore, TN, on December 26. His services were conducted by Rev. L.F. Foust, of Athens, AL. Burial was at the George/Hobbs Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Robert F. Whitt of Ardmore, Mrs. H.A. Johnson of Akron, OH,and Mrs. M.Y. Douthit of Tanner, AL. Twenty one grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
