The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Burlington, WY. At the request of Annie there will be no public viewing.

Annie was born November 20, 1920 at Burlington to James Aagard and Christiane Rasmine Winter. She was the 8th of 12 children. Her father was a farmer/sheepman and Annie grew up on his ranch south of Burlington. Annie attended school through the 9th grade at St. Joe and then Burlington.

In 1937 Annie married Paul Jones in the Logan Temple. Two daughters were born to this union: Gayla Rae and Karen Lee. In 1948 Annie secured a temple divorce and she and her two daughters went to live with her parents on the ranch. Two years later she married Harold Winters of Otto, WY. In the Idaho Falls Temple. Four children were born to them: Brent, Stephen, Norman, and Eileen.

Annie believed in a great work ethic. She was rarely idle and taught her children the value of work. She drove the school bus for about 4 years and then was asked to be the cook for the Otto school, which position she held for many years. Her favorite occupation, however, was as a devoted mother and homemaker. Annie was active all her life in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many different callings in the church, including: a Sunday School teacher at the age of 16, various other teaching jobs, Primary, Mutual, and Relief Society President.

Annie loved to sew, knit, and crochette. She also loved to take part in the Pioneer parades, camp in the mountains, organize family reunions etc. When younger, Annie loved to attend the dances at various locations and especially loved to square dance!

Annie was greatly loved by her family and all who knew her. She is survived by her three sons: Brent (Judy) Winters, Stephen (Mary) Winters, Norman (Marla) Winters and her three daughters: Gayla (Larry) Zeitner, Karen (Mike) Preator, and Eileen (Heber) Jensen. Beatrice Davidson and Nadine Keeley, 32 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
