Robert Addis Musgrave, of Oklahoma City, passed away June 5, 2019 at the age of 77. He was born March 11, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Chester Lee & Christine Lewanna (Pendley) Musgrave.

Robert married Patricia Ann Caldwell, July 2, 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert enjoyed deer hunting and fishing at Lake Eufaula. Robert enjoyed woodworking, making things with his hands. He was an avid coin collector. When it came to sports, Robert was a fan of any team that was playing against the team his wife was for.

Robert enjoyed watching westerns. He was a big John Wayne fan and collected all of his movies. Robert attended Capitol Hill High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1960. Robert heard his country's call and served in the United States Army, where he received an Honorable Discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so.

He was a carpenter by trade and was also employed by Kinser Construction as a foreman supervisor. Robert went on to work for the State of Oklahoma in building maintenance, and then went on to become maintenance supervisor.

Robert was a kind and loving person with a giving and helping heart. He always helped family and friends with projects. He had a cantankerous and stubborn personality, but his world stopped when it came to his grandchildren – they were his life. His first love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann, of the home; 1 son, George Musgrave & wife, Madeleine, of Oklahoma City; 3 grandchildren, Makayla, Jocelyn, and Conner; 2 sisters, Betty Sue Harvey & husband, Richard, of Oklahoma City, and Carol Baxter & husband, Emanuel "Junior", of Oklahoma City.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Christine Musgrave; 1 son, Robert Musgrave; and 1 sister, Jerri.

Funeral Services for Robert will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2019 at the South Walker Church of Christ, located at 5217 S. Walker Avenue, in Oklahoma City. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, in Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, in Moore, Oklahoma.
