Mrs. Everett 61, died May 26 at Hood River Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 22, 1931, at Alma, Mich., to Herbert G. and Nellie (Bennett) Anderson, and attended Alma schools.
She moved to White Salmon in I955, where she raised her five children.
Mrs. Everett began a career with Super 8 Motels in 1977 and lived in various communities in the Northwest while with the motel chain. She lived in Alaska for several years where she opened the motel chain for that state.
She has resided in Hood River for the past four years.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mrs. Everett enjoyed sewing, traveling and her work with the motel chain. She was a big supporter of the Oregon Donor Program.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronald Dean Everett; her husband Edwin Everett, and a brother, Gerald Anderson.
Survivors include her children, Vicki Cannarile-Dawson of Hood River, Dennis Cannarile of Hood River, Allen Cannarile of Troutdale, Edwin R. Everett of Pendleton, and Tracy Everett-Jones of Pendleton; a brother, Herbert Anderson of Florida; sisters Helen Bell of California, and Ruth Skelcy and Patricia Davis of Michigan; eight grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
