Phillip Adams Jr., 22, of Charlottesville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

He is the son of Phillip Adams Sr. and Judy A. Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Khalil Adams, two daughters, Ahvey Adams and Sadasia Williams, and two sisters, Angela Johnson and Adrainne Johnson, all of Charlottesville; two brothers, Kevin Johnson of Charlottesville and Nicholas Adams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; maternal grandmother, Mary J. Johnson; paternal grandparents, Tyrone and Elvenia Simmonette; a stepmother, Cristol Adams; and stepgrandparents, Greg and Clara Provo; two special aunts, Felicia Ortiz and Sandra Catoe; and a Godfather, Alphonza Dudley; and two special friends, Theresa Williams and James Anderson; and a list of other beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2008, at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Reverend Frank Reaves officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Services of comfort are entrusted to the staff of McClenny Funeral Service Inc. Doris A. McClenny Mortician.
