Final Rites Here For Mrs. Qualls, Former Countian
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p. m. Monday for Mrs. Eliza Qualls, 72, of Marietta and a former Marshall county resident. Hospitalized in a Sherman, Texas hospital for the past four weeks, she died there Saturday afternoon.
Born September 17, 1896 at Batesville, Ark., she moved to Story, Ark., when she was 10 years of age. In 1921 she came to Oklahoma and married Cecil Qualls May 15 of that year. They made their home at Enville for 17 years. Since 1963 they have been residing in Marietta. Mrs. Qualls was a member of the Lebanon Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Marietta; two brothers, James Southard, Mean Ark., and Allie Southard, Benton, Ark.; and two sisters, Nora Tedder, Little Rock, Ark., and Mildred Glaze, Phoenix, Ariz.
Final rites were conducted at the Lebanon Methodist church with Rev. M. C. Scivally, assisted by Rev. Clark, officiating. Burial was in the Woodberry-Forest Center.
Pallbearers were Chris Lemmons, Terry Lemmons, Kenny Chaney, Randy McMillian, Tim Campbell,Dicky Minyard and Dale Lemmons.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Cecil Qualls
Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Qualls were held in the Methodist Church at Lebanon on Monday, February 24, with the Rev. M. C. Scivally, pastor of the Lebanon Methodist Church, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Don Clark, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Marietta.
Mrs. Qualls died Saturday, February 22, in the Wilson N. Jones Hospital at Sherman, Texas.
Mrs. Qualls was born September 17, 1896 in Batesville, Arkansas and moved to Story, Arkansas in 1906.
She was married to Cecil Qualls and they moved to Madill in 1921. Mr. and Mrs. Qualls came to Love County some 30 years ago where he was a teacher in several of the County schools.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Qualls of Marietta; two brother and a sister who live in Arkansas,
and one brother and one sister who live in Arizona.
Interment was in the Woodbury Forest Cemetery at Madill with the following serving as casket bearers:
terry Lemons, Chris Lemons, Dicky Minyard, Randy Mcmillan, Kenny Chaney, and Timothy Campbell.
