He enjoyed hunting, family history - particularly that of the Civil War era, and time spent with family and friends.
Larry was survived by three children, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie Welch; and an infant son, Marty.
