Larry Steward of DeWitt passed away Monday, Memorial Day, May 27, 2019.
He was born to Virgil and Ioma Barber Steward on Jan. 27, 1940.
He was a member of the United States Army, serving as a military policeman. He spent most of his lifetime career as a correctional officer for the state of Florida.
He enjoyed hunting, family history - particularly that of the Civil War era, and time spent with family and friends.
Larry was survived by three children, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie Welch; and an infant son, Marty.
