Sgt. Field was mortally wounded (not KIA) at the home of Ishmael Day on 11 Jul 1864, by Day himself, and died four days later on the 15th of July (not the 16th) at West's Building's Hospital in Baltimore. Ishmael Day's home was on what was then part of the old Joppa Road, not Bel Air and Harford Roads. His home was actually between those two roads and nowhere near the farm of Joshua Price.

Eugene Field died on the 15th of July 1864, not on the 16th and not on the 15th of Aug as the marker states (Unfortunately, the organization that placed this marker and a dozen or so more in this area screwed up the dates on 90% of them).

Also, Sgt. Field was wounded at the home of Ishmael Day, he was not KIA as the Bio states. He died at the West's Buildings Hospital in Baltimore 4 days later on the 15th.

Can you turn this memorial over to me since the creator is no longer managing it? I will post the documentation for his date of death and clean up the Bio?
