He was a lifelong resident of Akron and formerly employed with Mohawk Rubber Co. for 25 years, and was a member of Mohawk Local No. 6, and the Macabees.
Survived by his wife; a son, Henry Thatcher; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Derr, Mrs. Bertha Roach, and Mrs. Georgia Holl, and two brothers, Joseph Thatcher and Harry Thatcher, all of Akron.
Funeral services: Wednesday, December 16, 1936, Eckard Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. D.F. Billington.
Burial: East Akron Cemetery.
