George Gardner Hill, 65, died yesterday at Mary McClellan Hospital, Cambridge, after several weeks illness. He worked as a handyman in the west Hoosick area. A native of west Hoosick, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Gardner Hill.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Dora Cohen of North Adams, Mass.; a son, Donald Hill of New Jersey; a sister, Mrs. Frances Stewart of Hoosick Falls and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Robson Funeral Home, Main street, Hoosick Falls. Rev. Lawrence L. Plumley, paster of the First Baptist Church, Hoosick Falls, will officiate. Interment will be in West Hoosick Cemetery.
