Anna Ruth Griffith, age 87, of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away Wednesday, June 05, 2019 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. She was born December 26, 1931 in Richlands, VA. Ruth was a retired LPN with Mattie Williams Hospital after 42 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. and Nora Gay Burnett Griffith; one sister, Lovada Rose; one brother, Raymond Griffith.
Ruth is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Childress and Pasty Griffith both of Cedar Bluff, VA and Louise Silcox of Richlands, VA; one niece, Donna Puckett; one nephew, Gary Childress; great nieces and nephew, Teresa Cardona, Brandy Hodges, Tiffany Childress, and Hunter Wilson; great-great niece, Louella Hodges; special friends, Jim and Greta Ward.
The family will receive friends from 11 – 11:50 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, VA. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to be at the funeral home by 11:50 a.m.
